Evelyn Cantale, a cherished lifelong resident of Bayonne, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, in North Bergen, New Jersey.

Evelyn was the beloved wife of the late Pietro Cantale. She was a loving mother to Peter Cantale, and proud grandmother to Ione Casais. She is survived by her siblings: Barbara “Chicky” Omilanowicz, Diane Omilanowicz, Rose Mary and Guido Cantale, Vincent and Margaret Cantale, Joseph Cantale, Rosa and Charles Lamb. Evelyn is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings Gloria and Edward Grotkewicz, Bobby Omilanowicz, Joan Judah, Patricia and Nino Cantale, Josephine DeMonaco, and Henry “Bunny” Omilanowicz.
