Felipe Montiel - (Louis Felipe Montiel) - of Monroe Township, formerly of Bayonne NJ, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his residence on Saturday October 22nd 2022, he was 73.  Born In Guatemala City, Guatemala, Felipe worked as a truck driver for many years before retiring. He was the devoted husband to Miriam Beteta, and the beloved father to Daniel Beteta and wife Lisa, Jose Beteta and wife Michelle and to Miriam Beteta and husband Kris Kobelski.  Felipe was also the loving grandfather to Alex and his wife Brittany, Vanessa, Evan, Rachel, Daniel L., Marco, Matthew, Madison & Jonathan; and was the cherished great-grandfather to Liliana. Felipe is survived by his sisters in Guatemala; Aura del Carmen Montiel Ralda de Sagastumel and her husband Jose and to Edna Alicia Montiel, as well as a host of other loving family members and dear friends both here and in Guatemala.  There is a visitation and prayer service for Felipe on Thursday October 27th from 10AM - 12PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
