Florentina  "Tina" L. Vayda-89, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Monday October 18th, 2021. Tina was an active parishioner at Saint Henry's Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the choir, and a teacher of CCD.  In Tina's younger years she worked as a secretary at Western Electric then in the checking department at First Savings and Loan but her most fulfilling and rewarding career was being a housewife. Tina enjoyed spending time with her family and friends whether having lunch with "the gang," going for walks in the woods with her husband and son, window shopping in New York City, vacationing on the beach, eating pizza, or decorating the house for the Christmas season. She is preceded in death by her spouse of 59 years Robert R. Vayda. Visitation is Sunday October 24 ^th from 5-9PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 851 Kennedy Blvd. in Bayonne.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:45AM on Monday October 25 ^th at St. Henry's Church in Bayonne with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 9:30AM.  In lieu of flowers, please donate in Tina's memory to The Alzheimer's Association with a link found on her obituary page at www.Migliacciofuneralhome.com .
