Frances M. Antonucci (nee: Mercatelli) - passed away surrounded by loving family on Wednesday December 17th 2014, six days shy of her 92nd birthday. Born in Bayonne, Frances was a member of the first graduating class of Bayonne H.S. and was a former resident of Staten Island and of her favorite place, Farrenyville on Long Beach Island, NJ. Frances was the devoted wife to the late Francis "Frank" Antonucci and loving mother to Antoinette "Toni" Montuori and husband Vincent and to Patricia Antonucci and partner Richard Story, as well as being grandmother to Francis V. "Frank" Montuori and wife Lacey. Frances was pre-deceased by siblings Dominick and Jerry Mercatelli, Mary Forlenza, Angelina Tedesco and Susan Peduto and surviving her are many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends such as Antoinette Zaninelli. Visitation will be held today Saturday December 20th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home promptly at 8 pm the same evening. Cremation will be private.
