Frances Cupo Frances Cupo (nee Aloi) - of Bayonne passed away peacefully with loving family at her side on Saturday January 5, 2019. She was 88 years old. Born in Jersey City, she was the fourth of the five daughters of Nicolo and Ida (nee: Donato di Paola) of Marcellinara, Provincia di Catanzaro, Italy. For 60 years, she was the devoted wife of the late Leonardo Cupo. She was the beloved mother of and inspiration to Dr. Leonard (Lanie), Ida Marie Galietti (Mario), Donna Lenzo (Mark) and Gina Anthony (Jay). Frances was the caring grandmother to Leonard, Shelley (Brian), Anthony (Zara), Joseph (Samantha), Lauren (Mario), Diana, Nicholas, Angela, Dominic, and Joseph and step-grandmother to Emily, Jerrick, Alyce, Karilyn, and Kaitlyn. She was the loving great-grandmother to Keiko, Charlize, Zoey, Kaia, Violet, Gavin, and Luciano. Frances was pre-deceased by her sister Rose Aloi, brothers-in-law Dominic Carbone, John Mucciolo, and Joseph Cupo, and sister in-law Assunta Cupo and is survived by her sisters Mary Carbone, Victoria Mucciolo, and Josephine Burgagni (George) and sister-in law Antoinette Kalem. She was also treasured by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and caretakers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 9 from 4-8 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday January 10th at St. Andrew's Church, 145 Broadway (at 4th St.) in Bayonne with family and friends invited to meet at the funeral home beginning at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum in North Arlington.
