Frances Kostelfka (née Lullo), 92, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026. Born on November 11, 1933, in Jersey City, Frances attended the Jersey City Medical Center School of Nursing and devoted her entire nursing career to Jersey City Medical Center. Over the years, she served as an ambulance nurse, Emergency Department Head Nurse, and later worked in the clinics. Frances cared deeply for her patients and took great pride in her work as a nurse.

Frances was also a devoted member of St. Vincent de Paul R.C. Church, where she was especially involved with communion breakfasts and children’s activities within the parish community.

Frances was the beloved wife of the late John Kostelfka. She was one of six children born to Nicholas and Carmella Lullo and was predeceased by all of her siblings.

She is survived by her nieces, Betty Ann (Terrence) Easton and Cathy (Mark Richardson) Miele; her grandnieces, Samantha Easton and Sabrina (Robert) Easton Jones; and her great-grandnephew, Jack Easton Jones. She is also survived by her nephew, Lenny (Barbara) Stanziano, along with many loving family members and friends.

Entombment will take place at Cloverleaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge, NJ. Honoring Frances’s wishes, services will not be held at the funeral home or church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the food pantry at St. Vincent de Paul R.C. Church, 979 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002.
