LaPelusa, Frances (Nee:Arrigo), 94, of Bayonne passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday August 21st. Frances worked at St. Michael's Church in Bayonne before retiring, prior to that she worked for American Brewers and the Navy Base in Bayonne. She was very active in St. Mary Star of the Sea and St. Michael's Churches, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, a CCD teacher and worked with the youth Groups. Frances' first love was her husband the late Joseph LaPelusa, and her second love and greatest joy was her family. Frances was a loving mother to Philip and his wife Donna, Jerry and his wife Linda and to Mary Jo (née: LaPelusa) Imperiale and her husband Joseph. A cherished grandmother to Leslie Cirillo, Joseph LaPelusa, Gerri-Ann Del Virginia, Lauren LaPelusa and Phyllis Neshimka. She was also a loving great-grandmother to her seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving Frances is her sister in law Ann Arrigo. Frances was also predeceased by her parents Philip and Josephine (nee:Rinaldi) Arrigo and her brothers Anthony and Joseph and his his wife Olga Arrigo.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday August 25th from 6:00 to 9:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday August 26th at 10:45am at St. Henry's Church, Bayonne. Interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. Family and friends are welcomed to the funeral home on Wednesday August 26th beginning at 9:45am prior to mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frances' memory may be made to the St. Judes Children's Hospital. Envelopes provided at the funeral home or you may use the link on our website.
