Frances Sofranko (nee: Yourie) – a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed peacefully at her residence with loving family by her side on Wednesday December 4 ^th , 2019.  Frances was employed  by The Bayonne Board of Education for 31 years as a School Principal's Assistant and was a member of The Disabled American Veterans Women's Auxiliary and was selected to serve as their NJ State Commander.  Frances was the daughter of the late Mary (nee: Petruzelli) & Ralph Yourie and the loving mother to Andrew Sofranko III and his wife Barbara, as well as being the beloved grandmother to 3 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.  She was pre-deceased by her sisters Margaret Valente & Catherine Russo and her brother Louis Yourie and surviving Frances is a host of other loving family members and friends.  Visitation is Sunday December 8 ^th from 3-7PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. in Bayonne.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:45AM on Monday December 9 ^th at St. Henry's Church, 82 W. 29 ^th St. in Bayonne, with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 9:45AM.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
