Frank (Chico) Bilotta - of Bayonne, NJ passed away on July 18th after a brief illness. Frank was born on September 21st, 1932 in San Vito sullo Ionio in Calabria, Italy and came to America with his family a few years later and has since been a life-long Bayonne, NJ resident. Everyone that knew "Chico" knows he was a wonderful Ambassador for the City of Bayonne, telling everyone what a great place it was to live. Everywhere Chico went, there were friends, neighbors or former co-workers who would stop to say hello and spend time talking. Frank was also a Parishioner of Assumption Church and assisted during Mass for many years. Frank is predeceased by his parents, Giuseppe and Caterina (nee:Doria) Bilotta both of San Vito, Italy and also predeceased by his sister Theresa (Bilotta) Dias, and brothers Joseph, Vito (William) and Nicholas. Frank is survived by his brother James and sister-in-law Jean of Denville, NJ. Most of all, Frank was much loved by his many nephews and nieces who cherished "Uncle Chico" who was always there for all of us, as family was his focus in life. Uncle Chico will live on forever in our hearts. We will cherish the many memories of our wonderful Uncle, who was such an important part of our extended family for so many years. Frank Bilotta was the greatest family member anyone could ever ask for. We will love you forever Uncle Chico! Visitation will be on Wednesday July 22nd from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday July 23rd at 10:30am at Assumption Church located at 91 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne with all welcome to meet at the funeral home beginning at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.
