Gaspar F. Mangano - of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at Bayonne Medical Center on Monday December 22nd 2025, he was 85.  Born in San Giuseppe Jato, Sicily; Gaspar came to America and served his new country proudly as a US Army Veteran.  Gaspar spend most of his life working as an acclaimed chef in New Jersey and was the devoted husband to Santa (nee: Calderone) and the beloved father to Paul Mangano & Francesca Cangialosi and her husband Charles.  Gaspar was also the cherished grandfather to Isabella, Michael & Charles Cangialosi III.  He was pre-deceased by his sisters Benedetta Forlenza (Willie) & Francine Mangano and surviving him are his sisters Gaetana "Gaye" Dellamura (the late Anthony) & Caterina "Tina" Manzo (Lou) as well as a host of other loving family members and dear friends.  Visitation for Gaspar will be held on Friday December 26th from 10am  -12pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne.  A funeral mass will be celebrated immediately following at 12PM Noon at St. John Paul II Church, 39 East 22nd Street in Bayonne.  Gaspar will then be laid to rest with full military honors at Holy Name Mausoleum in Jersey City, NJ.  In lieu of any flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gaspar's memory to The Alzheimers Association of America, which can be done directly by clicking the "Memorial Donation" tab below this obituary.
