Caltagirone, Genevieve (nee: Funk) - passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 4th 2012, she was 85 years old. A lifelong resident of Bayonne who worked for many years at Holy Family Academy Cafeteria, Genevieve was the devoted with of the late Joseph Caltagirone Sr. and the loving mother to Tom, Joseph Jr. and his wife Diane and Geralyn Perricane and her husband Vincent. Genevieve was also the beloved grandmother to Krista, Kimberly and Michael Caltigirone and to Jessica, Zachary and Gina Marie Perricane. She is survived by her sister Helen Costello and her husband James as well as her sister in law Edith Pelliccia and was pre-deceased by her siblings Walter Funk and Frances Solan. A visitation will be held on Sunday December 9th from 2 - 6 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 10th at 10:30 AM at Assumption Church, 91 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne with interment to follow at William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Genevieve's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
