George Peter Dederding - a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Sunday January 14th 2024, he was 72.  A member of the American Legion Post 19, George was the devoted husband to Marie (nee; Mamone) Dederding and the beloved father to Charles and his wife Jennifer and to Eric and his wife Guinevere Dederding.  George was also the beloved grandfather to James & Miles Dederding.  He was pre-deceased by his parents Henry John & Mary (nee: O'Donnell) Dederding and surviving him are his siblings; Mary Dederding, Henry John Dederding Jr. and Michael Dederding (Elizabeth), as well as a host of other loving family members and dear friends.  Visitation will be Wednesday January 17th from 3-7PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne.  He will then be laid to rest at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden NJ at 12:45pm on Thursday January 18th, with everyone asked to gather at the funeral home that morning starting at 11am for a brief prayer service before departure to the cemetery.  In lieu of any flowers the family requests that donations be made in George's memory to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital or The Shriners, which can be done through a direct link found on his obituary page at www.MigliaccioFuneralHome.com .
