GUTHRIE, George, 79, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on September 15th at the Bayonne Medical Center. George worked in Security for the Sports Authority in East Rutherford for many years before retiring. He was a beloved husband to the late Barbara (née:Powers), father to Thomas Guthrie and his wife Nikki, Kelly LaBruno and her husband Louis, Dawn Guthrie and her fiancé Thomas Solari. Grandfather to John Norris Jr, Kristina Norris, Amanda Torello, Justin Guthrie, Ryan Guthrie, Emily Malzer, and Cody Guthrie. Great grandfather to Jayce and Taylor Bello and to Jayden Torello.   A dear brother to James Guthrie, Ronald Guthrie and his wife Frances, Edward Guthrie and his wife Dawn, and to Linda Guthrie. Also a father in law to John Norris, and Marjorie Guthrie, and a host of nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his parents William and Edna (née:Monahan) Guthrie, his daughter Debra Norris, and his siblings William, Frances Swift, Kathy, Robert, Thomas, Richard, and Michael Guthrie.  George's cremation was private. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday September 17th, at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne from 4:00 to 8:00pm. A prayer service will be offered during visitation at 7:00pm.
