Obituary

Stamos, George - of Bayonne, passed away peacefully with family by his side early Wednesday April 11th, he was 62. A PATH Train conductor for 39 years, George was the devoted husband to Maryann (nee: Johnson), beloved father to George Jr. and his partner Cindy Antonucci, Christopher and his wife Sandra and Kellyann Finck and her husband William. George was also the loving grandfather to Liam Alexander Stamos and Aidan Ryan Finck. He is survived by his brother John Szemly and his wife Debra, Gabriel Stamos and his wife Susan as well as Stephen, Christopher and James Stamos. George is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was pre-deceased by his brother Mikes and his parents Michael and Anna Stamos. Visitation will be held Friday, April 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday April 14th at 10 AM at St. Michael's Church, 21 E. 23rd St. in Bayonne with a private cremation to follow. In lieu of any flowers the family asks that a donation be made to The Catholic War Vets of Bayonne.
