Geraldine Girgis (nee: Amabile) – of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by loved ones on Thursday May 30th 2024, she was 60 years young.  Born in Jersey City,  Geraldine was a deeply devoted family woman who was also an avid member of The Bayonne Elks Club.  She was the loving wife to Gamil "Jimmy" Girgis, the beloved mother to Christopher Amabile (Jacqueline), Christina Cruz and Joseph Girgis, and the cherished "Nonna" to Mason & Mikayla Cruz, Patrick Grogan and Christopher Amabile Jr.   Geraldine was pre-deceased by her father Alfred Amabile and her siblings Anna, Felix and Patricia, and surviving her are her mother Pauline (nee: Voza) Amabile, her siblings Joseph, Florence, Joann, Pauline, Michael and Donna;  her K9 companion Milo and a host of other loving family members and dear friends.  Visitation will be held on Monday June 3rd from 2-4PM and again from 7-9PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rdSt.) in Bayonne.  Geraldine will be buried on Tuesday June 4th at 12PM noon at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 10am, with prayers at 10:45am.
