HICKEY, Geraldine (nee:Zavaglia) 80, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 16th at the Bayonne Medical Center. Geraldine was a typist for many years working at the Jersey Journal, J.P. Morgan, Chase Manhattan, and First Jersey, in Jersey City before retiring. She was a beloved wife to Hugh, a loving mother to Robert and his wife Diane, John, and to Angela White and her husband Gary. A cherished grandmother to Joseph, Christopher, Caitlin, and Christina. Geraldine was predeceased by her parents Angelo and Angelina (nee:Santo) Zavaglia, and her son Joseph M. Hickey. Visitation will be today Wednesday June 19th from 4:00 to 9:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A prayer service will be held at 7:30pm at the funeral home also this evening. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Kidney Foundation.
