CLAPPSY, Gerard, 61, of Manalapan, formerly of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 13th at the Pine Brook Care Center in Manalapan, NJ. Gerard was a beloved son to the late Gerard and Marie (nee:Farraro) Clappsy. A loving brother to Carmella (James) Gleason, Angela Paradine, Patricia (Richard) Speziale, Annette (Frank) Foster, Vincent, Frank and Nicholas (Andrea) Clappsy. Gerard is also survived by his stepmother Audrey Clappsy, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and friends.also his caregivers Mr and Mrs Marshalls, Ms. Sonia Dominick and the Pine Brook Care Center. Gerard was also predeceased by his brother Salvatore, brother in law Mark Paradine and his sister in law Patricia Clappsy. Visitation will be held on Saturday October 17th from 9:00 to 11:00am at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A prayer service will be offered at 11:00am following visitation. Interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gerard's memory to the "ARC" or to the Make- A-Wish Foundation. Envelopes provided at the funeral home.
