Obituary

Gerard Pacillo – of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at his residence with his loving family by his side on Wednesday March 8 th 2023, he was 90.  Born in Jersey City, NJ, Gerard was the self-proclaimed "High Lama" and served his country proudly in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and later was an avid member of The American Legion and The Bayonne Catholic War Veterans Post 1612.  Gerard was the devoted husband to Victoria (nee: DiGeronimo) Pacillo, the beloved father to Victoria Piccirillo (Thomas) and Patricia Pacillo and the cherished grandfather and "best friend" to Cody Baran.  Gerard was pre-deceased by his siblings Tony, Nicky, Mike, Julia, Teresa & Christine and surviving him are his brother John, his good friend Mike "The Colonel" Regan, and a whole host of other loving family members and dear friends.  Visitation will be held on Sunday March 12 th from 3-7PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33 rd St.) in Bayonne.  A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday. March 13 th at 10:45AM at St. Henry's Church, 82 W. 29 th St. in Bayonne, with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 9:30AM.  Interment with military honors will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.
