Gertrude Falcicchio (nee: Barmen) – 90, of Bayonne passed away peacefully after a brief illness, with family by her side on Saturday December 26th 2015. Born in Staten Island NY, Gertrude was an avid member of OLA Golden Agers and the devoted wife to the late Nunzio. She was the beloved mother to Angelina Falcicchio, Nancy Dunn (Kenneth), Joyce Altieri (Thomas) and to the late Bernard Falcicchio and loving grandmother to Gerald & David Genova, Michael Dunn (Jordan), Nicole Aliseo (Larry) and Thomas Altieri (Lauren). Gertrude was also cherished great grandmother to the love of her life Luca & Sofia; Anthony, Nicholas & Isabella and Thomas & Michaela. She was pre-deceased by her siblings Lois Beyer, Frances Ransom and Stanley & Richard Barmen and surviving Gertrude are her other siblings Roger Barmen, Alice Cavicchio, Muriel Napolitano & Edith Hodgens and many other loving family members and friends. Visitation is today Monday December 28th from 2-4 and again from 7-9 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday December 29th at 10:30 am at Assumption Church, 91 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne.
