Gregory Morkevich - of Holmdel NJ, formerly of Bayonne passed away peacefully at his residence with his devoted wife by his side on Friday December 10th 2021, he was 67.  Gregory worked for the NJ turnpike for many years before his retirement and was a faithful and devoted family man.  He was the beloved husband to Peggy (nee: Gilbert) Morkevich, the cherished father to Erika Shah and her husband Paulin and to Alyssa Morkevich, and the loving grandfather to Landon, Lilliana & Kinsley Shah.  Gregory was pre-deceased by his brothers Jeffrey and Damian and surviving him is a whole host of many other loving family members and dear friends.  There will be a visitation and prayer service held for Gregory on Sunday December 12th from 4-8PM with the prayer service to be held at 7:30PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne.  A private cremation will follow.  In lieu of any flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gregory's memory to The American Heart Association, through a direct link that can be found here on Gregory's website at the bottom of his picture under "Memorial donations".
