Helen Barberio (nee Orrigo) passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025.  She joins her husband, Sammy; Daughter, Maria Dessaux; Grandson, Jonas Dessaux;  Sister, Lynn Orrigo; Mother & Father, Antoinette and Steve Orrigo in Eternal Rest. A lifelong resident of Bayonne, Helen dedicated 50 years of her life as an emergency room nurse and later supervised the nursing staff in Bayonne Hospital. Helen's care for her patients was her top priority as was reflected in her understanding and compassion extended to the patients' families. The loves of her life were her grandchildren, Louis & Lorna Dessaux who reside in Switzerland as well as their father, Fabrice.  A mass will be held on Friday January 31st at St. John Paul II Parish (Mt. Carmel Church), Bayonne at 11:30am. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the Church on Friday by 11:15am. There are no services at the funeral home.
