Helen R. McNulty (nee: Rampolla), a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed peacefully at her residence surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, July 16, 2019. She was 84 years old. Helen was a graduate of Holy Family Academy in Bayonne and was later employed as a private secretary at Scudder, Stevens & Clark Investment Company in NYC. Helen married Hugh McNulty, had 6 children and became a stay-at-home mom. She was a lifetime parishioner of St. Andrew's Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and taught Faith Formation at St. Andrew's School for 24 years. She was also a member of the St. Andrew's Altar Society, Rosary Society, and a volunteer at their Soup Kitchen. Her greatest joy, however, was her 15 grandchildren. As well as being the devoted wife to Hugh McNulty, Helen was the loving mother to Michael McNulty (Karol), Suzanne Gelchion (Joe), Lisa DellaFave (Joseph),Chris McNulty (Jacqueline), Karen Duran (Eugene), and Jennifer Poruczynski (Peter). She was the cherished grandmother to Dylan and Austin McNulty; Matt (Brittany), Ryan (Sarah), and Casey Gelchion; Nicholas and Daniel DellaFave; Christopher Jr., Kaitlyn, and Erin McNulty; Anthony, Maegan and Allie Duran; and Emily and Avery Poruczynski. She was also the proud great-grandmother to Luke Gelchion. Helen was pre-deceased by her parents Charles and Helen Rampolla (nee: Mellert), her brother Charles Rampolla, and her sister-in-law Judy. Surviving Helen are her brother Richard Rampolla (Madeleine), Robert Rampolla, and sister-in-law Catherine Rampolla, as well as a host of other loving family members and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19th from 3-8 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St. ) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, July 20th at St. Andrew's Church, 125 Broadway (at 4th St. ) in Bayonne, with all welcome to gather at the funeral home beginning at 11 AM . A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, Helen requested that donations be made in her memory to St. Andrew's Soup Kitchen in Bayonne. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
