Hubert Zawistowski was born on July 23, 1987 in Łomża, Poland and was raised in the city of Grajewo until he moved to Bayonne, United States with his parents and sister at the age of 12. While at school, he excelled as a volleyball player and enjoyed playing soccer and BMX riding with friends. In the later years, he showed promise as a handyman and began working in construction, taking pride in the work he did. In his spare time, he enjoyed hiking, fishing, and watching live sports, especially soccer and his beloved club FC Barcelona. He was also an avid sneaker collector and bargain hunter. He could be described as kind and gentle, helpful and handy, friendly and funny. Hubert died on December 9, 2024 at the age of 37 and is survived by his parents Janina and Krzysztof and his sister Izabela. Gone too soon, his loss is immeasurable and he will be missed by many.

Visitation for Hubert will be held on Saturday, December 14 from 3-6pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd (33rd St.) in Bayonne. Then his body will be transported to his homeland of Poland, and hometown of Grajewo, where the funeral mass and burial will take place.
