HICKEY, Hugh, J. 84, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Friday December 13th at the Bayonne Medical Center. Hugh worked as a security guard in New York for the DTC Co., before retiring. He also served his country in the United States Navy. Hugh was a beloved husband to the late Geraldine (nee: Zavaglia), a loving father to Robert and his wife Diane, John, and to Angela White and her husband Gary. A cherished grandfather to Joseph, Christopher, Caitlin, and Kristina. A dear brother in law to Theodore and Josephine Sielski, and an uncle to Jeffrey Sielski. He was also predeceased by his parents and his son Joseph M. Hickey. Visitation will be held on Monday December 16th from 4:00 to 9:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home also on Monday at 6:00pm. Cremation to follow will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in Hugh's memory may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
