Irene Helen Kendra (nee: Jakubik) – a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday November 20
th
2017, she was 88. Irene was an avid Bingo and card player who was the devoted wife to the late George Kendra Jr. Irene was the loving mother to Diane Fogu and grandmother to Jason Fogu and his wife Tracie, Thomas Fogu and his wife Martha and to Brian Fogu and his wife Julie as well as being the beloved great-grandmother to Tyler, Sydney, Gianna, Nickolas, Avery & Annabelle Fogu. Irene was pre-deceased by her 12 siblings and surviving her are her best friend Mary Marisette and multiple nieces & nephews and other loving family members and dear friends. Visitation will be Friday November 24
th
from 2-6 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33
rd
St.) in Bayonne, with a prayer service to be celebrated at approximately 5:45pm. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of any flowers the family asks that donations be made in Irene's memory to The American Diabetes Association with envelopes provided at the funeral home or with a link found on Irene's obituary page at
