PENNISE-DUNLEAVY, Irene, (nee: Wawzynski), 77, of Jersey City, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday June 10, 2017. She was an amazingly strong, independent woman to her family and friends.

Irene was a beloved mother to Donna McManus and her husband James, Maryann (Sissy), Paul and his wife Wendy, Sean, Donald, Joseph and his wife Ruth Ann, and to Tracy Poon and her husband Christopher. She was a proud grandmother to 12, Jason, Edward, Kellie, Victoria, Olivia, Paul Jr., Crista, John, Joseph Jr., Nicholas, Brian and Camryn.  A loving sister to Joseph Wawzynski and to the late Felix Wawzynski and Charlotte Brinkerhoff. Irene is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 14th from 2:00 to 4:00pm  and from 6:00 to 9:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A mass will be offered on Thursday June 15th at 10:45am at St. Henry's Church, Bayonne. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Family and friends are welcomed at the funeral home beginning at 9:45 am on Thursday, prior to mass.
