James F. Ciriello - Beloved husband, father and grandfather, died on May 26 2013, he was 76 years old. Jim lived his life in Bayonne, New Jersey, played football for the local high school, married Rosemary from Parkside Lane, and provided for two children, Lisa (now married to Bob Driscoll) and little Jim (now married to Peggy). Through the years, he was a member of the United States Naval Reserve and enjoyed a four-decade career with the Western Electric Company and AT&T. But it was the retirement years where Jim really shined. Starting with his health, he kept his cholesterol low through diet and exercise, no statins for him. Jim spent the summers in Wildwood Crest at the family vacation home, where he enjoyed the beach, cooked the crabs, and presided over the family court. This was a family that was now extended to five grandchildren, Jessica & Lauren Driscoll and Rose, Ava and James (the boy) Ciriello. Perhaps this was the defining period of his life, never wavering in support, and consumed with more smiles than any one family deserves. Even after hitting into the woods, Jim enjoyed the game of golf and a group of friends that seemed intent on solving the World 's problems. Maybe that is the point, Jim showed us that life does not have to peak, we can keep learning, keep doing, keep loving, until the flame goes out. He is survived by his wife, his children, his Grandchildren and his sister, Vicky. He will be missed and remembered.
