James Edward Mitchell – of Bayonne passed away on Monday November 7th 2016, he was 56 years old. Born in Paterson N.J., James was a dog lover and trainer of German Shepherds and was an avid member of A.A. and N.A. James was the loving son to Rose Marie (nee: Lindberg) and the late Abraham Van Mitchell. James was also the beloved father to Kaylee Mitchell and Nicole Butler of Toms River and Michael Van Mitchell of Philadelphia, as well as being cherished grandfather to Michael James and Cecelia Rose Mitchell and Tiffany Brown. James was pre-deceased by his brother-in-law Sam Fadil and surviving him are his sisters Valerie Mitchell Fadil and Robin Haddad and her husband Mark, brother Van John Mitchell and James' former wife Regina Mitchell, as well as a host of other loving family members and dear friends. Cremation was private, but a memorial visit with prayer service will be held on Sunday November 13th from 3-7 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne.
