Jay Matti De Venecia - of Bayonne, formerly of Bacolod City, Philippines passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side after a long battle with illness on Thursday December 20th 2018,  he was 56.  Jay leaves behind a host of beloved family members and close friends, both here and in the Philippines.  A visitation for Jay will be held on Saturday December 22nd from 2-6 PM, with a prayer service to be held at 4PM during the visitation.  A private cremation will follow and then a formal Christian Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Jay with his ashes present on Saturday December 29th at 11AM at St. Henry's Church, 29th Street and Avenue C in Bayonne.  On the morning of the December 29th Memorial Mass, everyone is asked to meet directly at the church, as there will be no services held at the funeral home on that day.
