Jean Cardone (nee: Phillips) – a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 15th 2022, she was 98.  An avid parishioner of The Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Bayonne, Jean was the devoted wife to the late Bayonne Police Officer Vito Cardone and was the beloved mother to retired Bayonne Police Captain Norman Cardone and his wife Eleanor and daughter-in-law Renee Sinisi Cardone.  She was also the cherished grandmother to Christopher Cardone and wife Maria, Kristie Martinez and husband Shannon, Candice Ferretti, Danielle Moutinho and husband Matthew, as well as being the loving great-grandmother to Skyler & Jace Martinez, Daniel Cardone and Olivia Moutinho.  Jean was pre-deceased by her siblings Dorothy McLaughlin, Peni Tomski, James Bennett, Thomas Bennett, Arthur Phillips and Norman Phillips. Surviving her are a host of other loving family members and dear friends.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 21st from 11am – 1pm with a prayer service to be celebrated from 1-1:30pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. in Bayonne with interment to follow at Bayview Cemetery in Jersey City.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Jean's memory to The Deborah Heart & Lung Center with envelopes available at the funeral home or with a direct link that can be found on Jean's obituary page at www.MigliaccioFuneralHome.com .
