Jean Patricia Macalush - of Bayonne passed away peacefully at Bayonne Medical Center on Tuesday December 23rd 2025, she was 95.  Born in Summit Hill, PA., Jean worked as a school teacher for most of her life at The Assumption School in Bayonne where she was also very active in their St. Ann's Society and their Boy Scout program.  She was a woman who loved teaching, loved her family & church and enjoyed her time in The Poconos.  Jean was the devoted wife to the late Michael J. Macalush, the loving mother to Michael (Linda) & Barry Macalush and the cherished grandmother to Christopher, Michael, Casey & Brian.  Jean was pre-deceased by her siblings Joseph (Helen) & Marie Gormley (Charles) and surviving her are a whole host of other loving family members and dear friends.  Visitation for Jean will be held on Sunday December 28th from 4-7PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne.  A funeral mass will be celebrated for her at 9:30am on Monday December 29th at St. Henry's Church in Bayonne.  All attendees of the mass are asked to meet directly at the church on Monday morning as there will be NO services at the funeral home on that day.  Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City, NJ.
