Jeanne LaBate (nee: Marlow) - a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024. Foremost among all her various careers, Jeanne worked for 31 years as a beloved Kindergarten teacher at St. Joseph's School in Bayonne.

Jeanne was the devoted and loving mother to Dean LaBate and to the late Mark LaBate, the beloved aunt to Alan Laskowski, and great-aunt to Kelli and Kyle Laskowski.  She was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph LaBate and her sister Edna Laskowski, and surviving her is a host of other loving family members, long-time dear friends, and hundreds of former students.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 15th from 3-7PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne.  A funeral prayer service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 16th from 10-11AM and interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.  In lieu of any flowers, Jeanne requested that donations be made in her memory to St. Jude's Chidren's Hospital which can be done by clicking the "Memorial Donation" tab below.
