Obituary

Jeanny Gonzales-Torres, of Bayonne, New Jersey, passed away on June 20, 2026, at the age of 44 surrounded by her loving family. 

Born on March 13, 1982, in Manila, Philippines, Jeanny made her home in Bayonne, where she built a life centered on family and compassion. She worked as a Dialysis Technician with DaVita, where she cared for her patients with kindness.

She embraced life with an adventurous spirit and a passion for exploring the world. Whether traveling to a new destination, experiencing different cultures, or trying something outside her comfort zone, she approached every opportunity with excitement and curiosity. Her love for adventure inspired those around her, and she created countless memories through her willingness to discover new places, meet new people, and embrace life's many experiences.

Jeanny is survived by her beloved husband, Jonas B. Torres; her cherished daughters, Julianne Axl Torres and Jameson Raine Torres; her mother, Virginia Alima-Gonzales; her brother, Jeyver Gonzales; her mother-in-law, Evina Baquiran Torres; and her father-in-law, Josemari Torres. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Bryan Joseph Torres, and sister-in-law, Wednesday Albano-Torres; her sister-in-law, Janice Andrek, and brother-in-law, John Andrek; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her father, Jessie Gonzales.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 10:45 AM at St. Henry's Church. All are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Friday morning at 9:30 AM before proceeding to the church.

Cremation will follow at Rosehill Crematory in Linden, New Jersey.

Jeanny will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her caring spirit, and the lasting impact she made on those who knew and loved her.
