Jerry B. Anderson of Wallington NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday March 3rd, 2014, he had just turned 70 years old. Born in South Carolina, Jerry worked as a drug and alcohol counselor for many years at Integrity House in Newark. He was an avid golfer and a die hard NY Yankee and Giant fan. Jerry was the beloved husband of Julie A. Patterson. He was pre-deceased by siblings Eugene Jr. and Georgia M. Anderson and is survived by his siblings Rufus and Amy Anderson, Margaret Reeves and Lydia Murphy, as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He will be missed by many A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral prayer service will be given at the funeral home on Thursday, March 13, 2014 commencing promptly at 11:00 a.m. with mourners meeting at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Kearny. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made directly to Julie to assist with final expenses.
