Eleanor Joan Suarez (nee: Savage) -  of Bayville NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 9th 2025, she was 92.  Born in Bayonne, Joan was a Graduate of Bayonne High School, volunteered with St Vincent de Paul Parish Marian group from 1963-1973, The Marist Mothers Club from 1972-1977, and was retired from Prudential Insurance.

Joanie enjoyed crotcheting, knitting, Atlantic City Visits and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband Joaquin (Jack) Suarez and surviving her are her children, Jeff Suarez and his wife Kathleen, Jack Suarez and Judith Suarez Vreeland, Joan was also the beloved grandmother "Gram" to;  Paul Burnell and Stacey Burnell, Megan Tucker and her husband Bryan, Mark Farley, Jacquelyn Suarez and her husband Frank Moschella, Lauren Suarez and her husband Thomas McLoughlin, and Jack H. Vreeland and was the cherished great grandmother "Gigi" to  to Emma, Sophia, Kali, Chloe, Brynlee, Addy & Thomas.

A visitation and prayer service for Joan will be held on Monday January 13th from 3-7PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne.  A private cremation will follow.  In lieu of any flowers, the family requests donations be made in Joan's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital through a direct link found on her obituary page at www.MigliaccioFunneralHome.com .
