SHEMONIS, Joanne, 59, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 5th at the Jersey City Medical Center. Joanne made many lifelong friendships at the Harbor Casino and worked as a careworker for the Windmill Alliance in Bayonne. Joanne was a loving mother to Nicole Garulle, a dear sister to Stephen Shemonis. She also leaves behind her granddogs Snuggles and Sable. Joanne was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Olga (nee:Yadlowski) Shemonis. Visitation will be held on Friday August 7th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A mass will be offered on Saturday August 8th at 10:00am at Trinity Episcopal Church, Bayonne, with family and friends gathering at the funeral home by 9:00am. Cremation to follow will be private.
