John Dziekan - 87, a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away Wednesday October 15th 2014. John went to Professional School at Gallups Island in Boston, was a Merchant Marine, Serran Club Member and the photographic chronicler for his entire family. John was the devoted husband to Rose (nee: Capodice), beloved brother to Mary Levine and in-law to Salvatore "Sam" and Lucy Capodice. John was pre-deceased by siblings, Ignatius Niemczyk, Helen Niemczyk, Stanley Niemczyk, Anna Pagnotta and Josephine Wagner and in-laws Joseph and Carmen Capodice. Surviving him are his many nieces & nephews; Peter Capodice (Judy), Nicholas Capodice (Peggy), Debbie Shahpazian (John), Rosalie Bedkowski, Joseph Capodice (Charlene), Peter Capodice, Rosalita Macaluso, Rosemary Hermann, Peter Capodice, Robert Pagnotta, Patricia Delbert (Charles), Theresa Garland, Rose Mary Pagnotta, John Wagner (Janet), Paul Wagner (Mary Lou), Maryann Fahey (William), Lawrence Levine (Dawn), Barbara Levine, Mary Ellen Forker (Charles), Susan Percella and Judith Esposito (Joseph) as well as countless great nieces/nephews, cousins and close friends. Visitation is Sunday October 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday October 20th at 11:30 am at St. Mary's Church, 326 Avenue C in Bayonne. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.
