John Joseph Joyce Jr. – 68, of Bayonne passed away peacefully with loving family by his side on Wednesday August 1st2018. Born in Jersey City, John worked at The New Penn Company in Kearny for over 21 years and was the devoted husband to Phyllis (nee: Foster) for the last 30 years. John was the beloved father to Kelly Valentine, Robert Pennello, Melissa Joyce, Laura Joyce and husband Francisco Placido and to John Joseph Joyce III and was cherished grandfather to Jordan & Kelsie. Surviving John are his siblings Frederick Lord (Sharon), Patricia Joyce, Joseph Joyce, Keith Joyce (Barbara), Doreen Colon (Alex) & Darlene Joyce, as well as his in-laws Steven Foster and Debbie & Richard Brosonski, his niece Cassandra, his closest friend Mark Thompson and a host of other loving family members and dear friends. Visitation will be Friday August 3rd from 5-9 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rdSt.) in Bayonne. A funeral prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday August 4th starting at 10:45 AM with all welcome to gather at the funeral home beginning at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
