John "Jack" Kennedy - 60, of Bayonne passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday September 30th. Born in Jersey City, Jack worked as a supervisor in the Jersey City Post Office for many years and was an active member of the Local AA. Jack was the devoted husband to Lauren (nee: Miller) and beloved father to Ellen Regina Kennedy and boyfriend Greg Paal. Jack was also loving brother to Gerard Kennedy and wife Roseann, loving Uncle to Michael & Amy Kennedy and John & Dana Kennedy and dear friend to Mr./Mrs. Richard Schnur, Mr./Mrs. James Toback, Mr./Mrs. Edward Kelly, Mr./Mrs. Mark Tronco and Mr./Mrs. Bob Murphy as well as countless others. Jack was predeceased by his parents John & Ellen Kennedy (nee: Longfield). Visitation will be held today Thursday, October 2nd from 7-9 pm and again on Friday October 3rd from 3-8 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday October 4th at 10:30 am at St. Andrew's Church, 125 Broadway in Bayonne, a private cremation will follow.
