John Anthony Macchio Jr. – of Bayonne, passed away unexpectedly with his wife of many years on Friday January 3 rd 2020, he was 65. Born in Long Island, NY, John worked as a truck driver for many years before retiring. He was a kind and caring person who was loved by family and friends alike. John was the devoted husband to Bali (nee: Novoa) Macchio and the beloved father to Steve Macchio, Christie Debeneadto, April Macchio, Dana McCarthy (John), Tara Hanley (Dennis) and the late Robert Macchio; as well as being the cherished grandfather to Jordan, Michael, Sophia, Victoria, Lily & Liam. He is survived by his sister-in-law Maureen Dias (Dennis) and a host of other loving family members and dear friends. Visitation will be Wednesday January 8 th from 4-8 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33 rd St) in Bayonne. John will be laid to rest with his wife on Friday January 10 th at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Those wishing to attend, please meet at the funeral home between 10-11AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Islandview Court Fire Victims.
