Pivovarnik, John - passed away peacefully on Monday February 25th 2013, he was 86 years old. A lifelong resident of Bayonne, John was a retired Merchant Seaman, a member of The National Maritime Union in NYC, a WWII Navy Veteran and an active member of The CWV Post 1612 here in Bayonne. John was the loving brother to Julia Terracciano and her husband John and to Joseph Pivovarnik and his wife Ann and is survived by many nieces and nephews. John was pre-deceased by his other siblings George Pivovarnik, Margaret Foley and Irene Delaney. There will be no services for John and cremation will be private, but the family asks that those wishing to may make donations in John's memory to The CWV Post 1612, 18 W. 23rd Street, Bayonne NJ 07002.
