John A. Szefler – a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 30 ^th , 2020, he was 94 years old.  John served his country proudly as a US Marine during World War II and worker as a supervisor at Exxon Mobile in Bayonne for over 43 years before retiring.  He was a member of The Knights of Columbus, The Exxon Annuitants, The American Polish Veterans, VFW Post 226 and an avid parishioner at Grace Bible Fellowship in Bayonne.  John was pre-deceased by his wife Marie (nee: Noto) Szefler, as well as his brothers Casimir & Joseph Szefler and his sisters Hattie Wisnewski, Mary Rath and Martha Carpenter.  John is survived by his niece Joan Moore and her husband Larry and his nephews Stanley Wisnewski and his wife Judith and Michael Archiello and his wife Maria.  A visitation and prayer service will be held on Tuesday October 6 ^th from 12-1PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33 ^rd St.) in Bayonne.
