Obituary
FERNANDEZ, Jose (Pepe De Caamaño) 73, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11th at the Lakeview Rehabilitation and Care Center in Wayne, New Jersey. Born in Canedo, San Mamed, Carnota, La Coruna, Galicia, Spain, he lived in Bayonne for 41 years. Jose worked as a Marine Merchant in Spain and as a Laborer for LIUNA Local 731 in New York City. He was a beloved husband to Aurora (née: Louro Muñoz), a loving father to Sandra Fernandez and her husband Jose Luis Alvarez. A cherished grandfather to Ashley and Kayla Alvarez.
Visitation will be held on Sunday June 14th from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. A prayer service will be offered by Fr. Hermes Diaz from St. Vincent's Church, Bayonne at 8:00pm during visitation. Jose will be buried in Cemiterio de Ezaro in Ezaro, Galicia, Spain. In lieu of flowers donations in Jose's memory may be made to the family.
