Gomez, Jose A. - of Bayonne passed away unexpectedly with family by his side on Friday April 12th 2013, he was 66 years old. Born in Argentina, Jose was the devoted husband of Catalina (nee: Basile) and the loving father to Claudio and his wife Ann and to Paula Cherchio and her husband Richard. Jose was also the beloved grandfather to Liliana Cherchio and to Angela & Claudio Joseph Gomez. He is survived by his sister Delia Dasonvalle and her husband Carlos and was pre-deceased by his parents Jose Sr. and Elisa. A visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Tuesday April 16th at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 AM on Wednesday April 17th at the Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.
