Joseph Cannarozzo – of Bayonne passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Saturday October 19, 2024, he was 89.  Born in Calascibetta, Sicily;   Joe was the owner/ operator of Joseph Cannarozzo Construction Co. for many years before retiring, and was also an avid member of The Bayonne Sicilian Club.   Joe was the devoted husband to Delizia "Della" Cannarozzo (nee: Protocollo), the beloved father to Robert Cannarozzo (Carolyn) & Frank Cannarozzo (Eileen), and the cherished grandfather to Gianna, Christina, Carly, Melissa and Frank Jr.  Joe was pre-deceased by his daughter Maryann Cannarozzo, his son George Cannarozzo and his brothers Francesco, Giovanni & Alfredo, and surviving him are his nephews; Carmen, Joseph and John, as well as a host of other loving family members and dear friends both here and in Italy.  Visitation is Thursday October 24th from 3-8PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rdSt.) in Bayonne.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:45AM on Friday October 25th at St. Henry's Church in Bayonne, with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 9:30AM.  Entombment follows at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union,  NJ.  In lieu of flowers, please donate in Joe's memory to The Bayonne Sicilian Club with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
