LaScala, Joseph B., 79, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Saturday November 21st at Jersey City Medical Center. Joseph worked as an Upholsterer for his company J&J Custom Fit in Bayonne for many years. He was also a Range Officer for the Bayonne P.B.A. on 16th Street, and had a love for shooting. Joseph was a beloved husband to the late Sheila (nee:Elliott), a loving father to Joseph M., Mary Beth Cook and her husband Glen, and to Kathleen Silva and her husband Rob. Cherished grandfather to Nicolette, Glen, Ryan, Caitlin, Alyssa, and Joey. A dear brother to Lucille Benpensata and her husband Frank. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Joseph was also predeceased by his parents Joseph and Josephine (nee:Truncale) LaScala, his sisters and brothers in law Antoinette LaScala (John), Betty Solari (Roy), and JoAnna Castlegrande (Tony).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 24th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, Bayonne. A prayer service at the funeral home, will be offered on Wednesday November 25th at 11:30am, with family and friends welcomed beginning at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
