Joseph "Jasper" Pivovarnik – a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by loved ones, on Monday December 18th 2017, he was 94 years old. Joseph was a proud veteran of The US Marine Corps. during WWII, was a longtime member of The Catholic War Veterans and was an avid pinochle player. Joseph was the devoted husband for the last 67 years to Antoinette (nee: Mantone) and the beloved father to Linda & Barbara Pivovarnik. He was pre-deceased by his siblings, Margie Foley, Irene Delaney, Julia "Dottie" Terracciano, John Pivovarnik and George Pivovarnik and wife Angelina. Surviving Joseph is his brother in law John Terracciano and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and dear friends. Visitation is today Wednesday December 20th from 3-7 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne with a prayer service to be held at some point during the visitation. Joseph will be entombed at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge, NJ on Thursday December 21st at 1PM with everyone asked to gather at the funeral home beginning at 12 noon.
