RUTIGLIANO, Joseph, 83, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 30th at Overlook Hospital in Summit. He was born in Poggiorsini, Italy and has lived in Bayonne for many years. Joseph was the owner/operator of Joseph Rutigliano and Sons Inc., an Italian Food Import Company in South Plainfield, NJ. Joseph was the Beloved husband of Antonietta (nee:Di Gennaro), loving father of Charles C. and his fiancee Maryann, Vito, and his companion Anna and Vincent, and his companion Lorraine. Cherished grandfather of Gina Marie, Joseph Anthony, Gianna, and Victoria Rutigliano. Dear brother of Vincenzo, and Antonio Rutigliano and Raffaella Scaramella, Rosa Picerno, and Anna (Nina) Giove. He was predeceased by his parents Cataldo and Eleanora (nee:De Luccia) Rutigliano, and five siblings. Visitation will be Tuesday August 2nd and Wednesday August 3rd from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm both days. A mass will be offered on Thursday August 4th at 9:30am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Bayonne. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joseph's memory to Holy Face Monastery, 1697 State Rt.3 Clifton, NJ 07013. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
