Josephina Ciancimino (nee: Madonia) of Bayonne passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 5
th
2022 at the age of 78. Born in Cammarata, Sicily, Josephina was the devoted wife to Liborio Ciancimino and the beloved mother to Joseph and his wife Maria and to Nick and his fiancee Bridget. She was pre-deceased by her siblings Suor Assunta, Suor Maria Candida, Suor Maria Ave and Gaspero and surviving her is her sister Crocefissa Zimbardo, and many loving nieces, nephews, family members, and dear friends.
Josephina valued family. She will be remembered as a woman and mother who did everything for those around her and never hesitated to make you feel welcomed. Her generous nature was always willing and ready to give to anyone, help out anyone, and go the extra mile. Josephina was quick-witted, ready to laugh and smile, and enjoy life. Those who knew her know her laughter and smile was infectious and her bright, cheerful spirit followed her everywhere she went. Her light and love is reflected all around. Today and everyday after from heaven, she protects those she has loved with her warm light.
