CIONE, Josephine "Joan" (nee:Barresi), 88, was a lifelong resident of Bayonne, she moved to North Carolina in January of 2024, where she passed away peacefully on Friday March 7th. Josephine was the beloved wife to her first husband, Thomas Peat Crawford, and her second husband, Dominic Cione, both of whom predeceased her. She was a loving mother to Wayne Crawford and his wife Jennifer. A cherished grandmother to Vincent Crawford and his wife Ashley, Thomas Crawford and his wife Lindsay, and Lauren Jernigan and her husband Ryan. A great grandmother to Declan Crawford, Fisher and Brody Jernigan, and Jaxson and Lucy Crawford.  A dear mother-in-law to Rose and Jean Crawford. Josephine was also predeceased by her parents Anthony and Rose (nee:LaBruno) Barresi, her sons Vincent Anthony Crawford and Thomas Scott Crawford,  and her sister Janice Barresi. Visitation will be held on Sunday March 16th from 12:00 to 3:00pm, at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. A Prayer Service will be offered for Josephine at 3:00pm following the visitation. Private cremation to follow, as well as the burial of her cremains at Holy Cross Cemetery of North Arlington, NJ.
